News about CCRC’s Expansion to serve Families and Providers across the MetroWest Region
The Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) has been awarded contracts to provide Child Care Resource and Referral services, including Voucher Management and Information and Referral, and take the lead in delivering Educator and Provider Support Services for the entire MetroWest (Region 4) beginning on July 1, 2010. This is an expansion from our previous nine-town service area to 60 cities and towns.
This expansion offers CCRC the opportunity to use our experience, capacities, and resources:
· To expand effective service models, and models for building creative and productive local collaborations, that have proven successful over our 40-year history, to serve low- and moderate-income families throughout the MetroWest region;
· To build on positive and constructive relationships with early childhood education and out-of-school-time (ECE/OST) providers and educators throughout the region to build the workforce and improve the quality of education and care for all children;
· To enhance partnerships, and create new connections, with Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) programs, advocates, and community-based agencies that can further benefit families and ECE/OST providers and educators;
· To help strengthen connections among all players in the region that have developed through collaborative efforts over time, to build an integrated, seamless delivery system that benefits children, families/caregivers, educators, and providers. |
