We will have a cocktail reception
from 5:30 to 6:30 and a program will follow
The program will start with Choral
Performances by The Boston Children's Chorus and
St. Paul A.M.E.'s Angels without Wings. Harpist,
Mary Jane Rupert of the New
School of Music, Cambridge will perform during
the reception
The
Boston Children's Chorus is a multi-racial,
multi-ethnic arts education organization that unites
area children across differences to discover the
power of singing and to serve as ambassadors for
their city.
Angels Without Wings is a children's
choir of the oldest black church in Cambridge, St.
Paul A.M.E. Church
Awards for Exceptional Contributions
to the Field of Early Education and Care will be
given the night of the event to:
-Betty Bardige, EdD
-Gwen Morgan, MS
-Jack Shonkoff, MD
-Valora Washington, PhD
Brigid Sullivan, WGBH's
Vice President Children's, Educational, and Interactive
Programming Media Access, will be the Master of
Ceremonies for the evening.
