Originally opened in March 2002, the ABC Community Room
is a wonderful resource for parents and child care providers.
Beginning in January 2009, the Cambridge Public Library
will house its Early Childhood Resource Center in the ABC
Room Community Room. The Early Childhood Resource Room is
made possible by funding from the Massachusetts Department
of Early Education & Care. In the room you will find
everything from children's books to curriculum kits to books
on parenting. Thanks
to a partnership with IBM Corporate Community Relations,
the ABC Community Room also houses 10 adult computers with
internet access and one children's computer.
The ABC Room
is a great resource for parents, expectant parents, family
child care providers, child care center staff members, families
